ANGOLA — With about 20 seconds remaining the chant began from the Westview cheering section. “Three-peat, three-peat, three-peat.” Just 12 seconds earlier Westview senior Brant Yoder added the finishing touch with two free throws, sealing a 57-51 victory over Fremont in the Northeast Corner Conference tournament championship game, hitting two free throws. Yoder scored a team-high 21 points to help the Warriors win their third-straight NECC tournament title.

Greater Fort Wayne Business Weekly’s Business Success Conference 2011 was held Tuesday at the Grand Wayne Convention Center in Fort Wayne. Pete and Alice Eshelman were the keynote speakers at the conference breakfast. They established American Specialty Insurance & Risk Services Inc. in the basement of their home, and the sports insurance company has since grown to become an industry leader. The couple also own Joseph Decuis, which was recently honored as one of the country’s top 50 restaurants by Open Table Online, as well as an inn and a gourmet retail shop in Roanoke. Through American Specialty and Joseph Decuis, the Eshelmans have helped spearhead Roanoke’s revival.
