CLEAR LAKE — An ancient oaken giant hit the forest floor with a crash Tuesday morning. The tree, hundreds of feet high and nestled at the back of a virgin oak forest off C.R. 850E, had begun to lean and tip. It was still producing acorns, noted local woodsman Ed Sevits, a healthy feat for a 200- to 250-year-old oak tree. But its own sheer weight and the sway of the winds were destined to bring the treasure spilling to the ground. “It’s moved over the years,” said Sevits. “It used to lean south and now it leans west.” The roots were beginning to tear from the earth, said Sevits, who has been in the tree business for 52 years.

Using the basic chord progressions and some of the lyrics, this pop style song crosses over to the Latin Music genre with featured rap artist, Prez, spitting English and Spanish rhymes in the mix.
